Breaking free

Let's recap a bit!:)
I know it's been a while since I've posted but I've been through some major construction zones and adventures since we've took a chat. like....
I'm now going to be able to go to Australia in June for 17 days with people to people student ambassadors!:)
Tons of Basketball tournaments!!!:)

lots of fun times with friends! in this pic we were on a scavenger hunt!
scavenger hunt list in picture: tractor, snickers, tootsie roll, witch costume, school bus, lawn mower, race car, police car, gloves and the whole team!:)
we hit jack pot on the points for this one!
And My new baby cousin Kohen Lee Jones was born on 11-5-10 at 7:58 am. He was 7 lbs 11oz and 20"
He's so sweet!!!:)
Anyways the first, second and third week of this sermon series "Breaking free" started it's way with "Love"!
Love-
Because God loved us we want to do everything for Him because of His great sacrifice- which leads to Love.
Love is not only an emotion it's an action that deprives most couples hearts in this world.
But  the right Love mostly overtakes people who seek His guidance first. Love doesn't have to be give then received cause God loves us no matter what we say or do, so  we should be the same to eachother.
I didn't mention any of this before. But it's always ok to hit it anyways plus you can never talk to much about love right?
So I don't want to say this is the first step to a relationship with God because- there's realy no right or wrong way to  do this. But Love is a great way to start because not knowing would come to the comment that's most common would be "if You really loved me you wouldn't let this happen" and that's not necessary  but knowing the Fathers true love for you is.
Anybody needs to know they are loved by somebody and that somebody is always God. I can't number the amount of times where I've met a friend who searched for Love in a boyfriend or having sex before marriage, etc. (not pointing anybody out)
And it's always because they see that their relationship with their Father would be like what God would be to them so then they're blind to the fact that God does love them.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son so whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have an everlasting life"
Love
Hope-
do we know what His hope is for us?
Not all of us know that but He does and He will lead you, open doors that are of Him and close doors that are not.
Psalms 16:9
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
Love, Hope, and Faith
Faith
Faith is believing in something even though we can't see it at the time.
With Faith we can step out in full confidence that God is beside us protecting us when we fall. Not saying you won't fall because that's apart of the Journey but you will always see in the end that the falls are what made you!
Mark 5:34
And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Mark 11:22
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Peace
Peace is my favorite out of all of these because I'm always told that I'm a peacemaker.

Peace in knowing God is in control and (most importantly) His will!
I've heard so many times from different people that the peace sign is a picture of a broken cross. It's not what they say because God is the Prince of peace. My research has said that it symbolizes the Death of Man on the cross and the reason why it's upside down is cause it's a military code for "anti-military", also it is a sign of freedom and represents all people death. Gerald Herbert Holtom created the peace sign on  February 21,1958.

If you look it up yourself every page says almost the exact same thing and maybe even more info.

Next week I'm going to top off this sermon series with its purpose and reason behind it!
Have a blessed week!
Love y'all!!!
